I've seen a few posts about this but they're a few years old, and I wasn't sure if things may have changed. I know that data caps etc matter less these days with larger data plans. That said, I'd love some advice. The service I'm going for, transistor.fm, recommends MP3. They also recommend a max file size of 200MB. Both in mono, an MP3 version of my first episode is 38.5MB. Other options include EnjoyHQ, Aurelius, and Condens. Out of those 3, I tried Condens last year and gave up on it, because the transcription quality was sub-par. When we were considering which tool to use earlier this year, the video montage option and the ability to do the analysis fully from the tool swayed us, and we ended up picking Dovetail. Look at Condens. We demo’d it last year. I like it a lot as a tool to aid in synthesis. Didn’t end up going with it because it didn’t meet all of our requirements as a team, but I was still very impressed. Source: about 3 years ago
