I spent some time working on this tool called IMDB-Trakt-Syncer which syncs user watchlist, ratings and comments for Movies, TV Shows and Episodes both ways between IMDB and Trakt. Also syncs episode ratings. You can use this script alongside PlexTraktSync and TMDB-Trakt-Syncer to get your ratings syncs across all 4 platforms! It should work on any OS. What I liked about best about IMDb were the boards for old and obscure titles, away from the mainstream. When IMDb closed the boards, I tried a couple of the alternatives which carried over posts from the IMDb boards - moviechat.org and filmboards.com - but they never really took off so I gave up. At the time IMDb closed the boards, moviechat.org ported a bunch of threads over there and you can still search up any (old or new) movie, tv show or actor and chat on the specific boards. It's obviously not as busy as the IMDb boards used to be, but it's something. Source: 11 months ago
