  That's probably how they did it. I used trailingcrypto.com bot. Don't use it. I had forgotten about the API on binance.com. The API only allowed trading but no withdrawal. I thought I was safe. But one year later, the bot sold low and bought high various no name crypto I had never heard of. The bot traded over 3000 times over 8 hours. I lost at least $7K. Source: over 2 years ago
