Bare minimum timer what many people use: https://tomighty.github.io/ . Mini timer is in tray but it has no session tracking. For more advanced app I just did quick search and found this project https://github.com/zxch3n/PomodoroLogger from first looks like switz knife of a pomo app 😅. Source: about 2 years ago

Try https://tomighty.github.io/ or https://chris.dziemborowicz.com/apps/hourglass/ - when minimized to taskbar icon it shows time progress as a background colour. If you find something better let me know. I also looking for a regular clock in taskbar (hour & minutes only). Source: almost 3 years ago

Https://getharvest.com/ : time tracker for contract work. Source: 12 months ago
I use getharvest.com to track hourly and convert them to invoice. The only thing I don't like is that I have to add the task in the web dashboard rather than entering directly in the desktop app. There is 'note' field, but it won't show up in the invoice detail, so it is useless for me.
