  You can set up a cracked server. Your daughter can play using a launcher like tlauncher (https://tlauncher.org/en/). Not sure if you have such a setting in the official minecraft server, but you can turn online mode off, just search for such a setting in the config file. If you cant do that, you can set up the server in aternos, its got a simple ui and for 2 people its more than enough, just make sure you set up... Source: 12 months ago

  I ran tlauncher from https://tlauncher.org/en/ through https://www.virustotal.com and it was fine but the file I downloaded through the site you linked had trogenware. Source: over 1 year ago

  I have been using tlauncher for over 2 years now on mac and windows and not a single issue has arised. I even scanned it and it was fine! The only reason why people say it gives viruses is because it makes your pc more susceptible to viruses and hackers if you are on servers escpecially.   I force clients who want to talk to me to book a call. I use cal.com (free) and my Google Calendar (which its linked to) only allows calls on specific days/times. I have a few "Call Blocks" where they can book. That let's me do calls in a small section of my week, with ample downtime to recover the rest of the week.
