  • So Youtube have recently announced about that they will be hiding dislike count So I found alternative to that as Zeeker: On-site Discussions , with These tool you can not only comment in youtube video but you can give rating , comments on any website and discussion about website.
Yes so it will be good because they have nearly 20 lacs users and I think it is also integrated with Vanced , But the good thing about this extension is we can comment on any website on internet, there exists a similar website is tipestry.com it gives you some crypto reward and there was also extension like this called dissenter But google and firefox have removed so they came across the idea of dissenter... • Ask HN: Is there a tool / product that enables commenting on HTML elements?
Yes. Only one solving the problem very very well right now. Memex - https://getmemex.com More generally the open annotations standard is meant to address this use case. Older, now obselete tools like hypothes.is, and peerlibrary* laid a lot of the groundwork. https://github.com/peerlibrary/peerlibrary. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Raindrop.io's Firefox extension was removed!
Hmm.. Probably Wallabag, But I prefer MemeX because it has less trackers and works well for me. Source: about 2 years ago
  • What are some good extensions and windows apps which can be helpful to the categorization of websites, bookmarked, and web apps in tile style layout?
Check out Memex (https://getmemex.com/) or wallbag (https://www.wallabag.org/en). They're both free and open-source. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is Firefox Primary Password safe?
If you're interested in saving bookmarks and such, I'd probably go off with something like Memex (https://getmemex.com/) or Floccus (https://floccus.org/). I haven't really used them but, I've looked a bit into them and they're free and open-source. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Suggestions for a good PDF reader for Mac for use with Obsidian
For pdf annotations on Windows I use Foxit reader, on Android acrobat reader. For highlighting web-content (pdfs, articles) I'm still looking for a good solution but will maybe stick to Memexor hypothesis. On iOS there's Command Browser (one time purchase) I already use and love for webcontent- and they have Android on their roadmap too.. If that's the case I know where I belong ;).
