I have built a Django server which serves up the JSON configuration, and I'd also like the server to store and render sensor graphs & event data for my Thing. They still billed it. Then, while I was arguing with them about it, they turned me over to collections for non payment...at which point they said I could only talk to collections. Months went by of bitching at them every couple of days before they finally pulled it back and sorted it out...took almost a year. Thought it was a fluke. Never got an apology. I tried to cancel some spanning.com tenants so I feel your pain. They either bill and autocharge a credit card and fail to renew the tenant and then turn you to collections even though they've been paid or you finally do cancel and they keep charging the card. Source: over 2 years ago
