Timeglass VS Hourglass

I generally try to avoid suggesting people get something new. In your case a tool I use may help. There is a smartphone timer app called Timeglass. http://timeglassapp.io/ . You can set up multi-step timers with labels for each step and save multiple timers. You can run timers in parallel. Try https://tomighty.github.io/ or https://chris.dziemborowicz.com/apps/hourglass/ - when minimized to taskbar icon it shows time progress as a background colour. If you find something better let me know. I also looking for a regular clock in taskbar (hour & minutes only). Source: almost 3 years ago
