  • frequent collaborators

What's the story behind your product?

dypt's answer:

I built dypt as I found myself frustrated by task apps that constrained my ability to organise my work in a way that made logical sense.

Often as a task grows in complexity, I'd find myself wanting to drill into it, and work on the subtasks that made it up.

This would lead to a never end list of tasks without proper connection that became difficult to manage and conquer.

So I decided to build the tool that I'd been dreaming about, and I'm thrilled with how it's turned out.

Give it a try, I suspect you'll like it too!

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

dypt's answer:

dypt is a web app built using:

  • Typescript
  • NextJS 14 / React 18
  • PlanetScale
  • Resend
  • Drizzle
  • Clerk
  • Tailwind

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

dypt's answer:

  • Ready to advance from Evernote, looking at Obsidian
Currently, I use Things (https://culturedcode.com/things/) for tasks and Evernote for notes, and experimented with Freeform (I love the visual aspect and simplicity). At work, I've used Notion, Mural, Miro, LucidChart, Quip, and many other collaboration-based knowledge systems. I never researched the best of personal knowledge systems until now.
