Instead of "long" branches, you could consider: elongated, stretching, gangling, lanky, towering, lofty, or far-reaching. All of these words I found on thesaurus.com by looking up "long." Now, consider how each of these offers a slightly different vision of this tree, some carrying emotional implications. "Towering branches" give a very different feeling than "lanky branches.". I don't know what EasyList or uBlock are (i.e., I don't use those), but I got blocked by cnn.com as well. Firefox on Mac. Turns out it was the "I don't care about cookies" extension (automatically accept consent requests). Once I disabled that for cnn, it worked again. Source: 5 months ago
