  • Bill Simmons on Succession
Uh, most of the Succession podcast coverage was Bill (sportsguy), Sean (head of content), CR (editor at theringer.com), Greenwald (Grantland TV critic/showrunner), Joanna (formerly of Vanity Fair) and Big Wos (the only who got the show). Source: 11 months ago
  • Do We Really Need THREE Succession F-word Articles?
I browsed theringer.com today for the first time in a year and laughed out loud at the amount of Succession articles. I love the show, but this is entering A Star Is Born territory. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Anyone fake an interest in sports? And how?
During NFL season, I read the "winners and losers of week xyz" from theringer.com. I am enough of a sports fan (but hate football) that I can then fake it well. Worth a try if you have to pretend you care. Source: about 1 year ago
  • I have a domain name issue affecting my SEO / Same as a UN study
When I started the website the name was thehoopsresource.com and it was specific to basketball.I also started another completely different website thetennisresource.com,. When I figured out I wanted to keep expanding to other topics I liked to write about and do it under one umbrella is when I made the name more universal. I've actually got an unpublished section I'm working on with some music, reality TV etc... Source: over 1 year ago

  • How to create multiple virtual cameras for an app in development?
I have tested OBS's Virtual Camera feature, but it only provides a single virtual camera from what I've tried. I also tested a piece of software called Webcamoid. It was easy to use, but I couldn't get the MediaStream object from it using Tauri on MacOS for some reason, even though it worked when I opened the test app in Chrome instead. I am not sure it would enable multiple instances either. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Webcam issues
That did not seem to do anything with Cheese, however it lead me down a rabbithole to https://webcamoid.github.io/ with links to virtual camera drivers for "akvcam" and "v4l2loopback" which solved the issue within browser. I installed both, not sure which one was needed. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Was forced to participate in a Facebook Messenger call today.
Yes, obs-virtualcam, or this open source thing will do it https://webcamoid.github.io/. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Can someone please help me identify this coin?
I would have liked to take better quality pictures, but this was the best my webcam could muster (at least when using Webcamoid). If the images don't appear, and show the alt text I provided, it's a coin with a silver outer circle, and a gold inner-circle (where the details are present). Source: over 2 years ago
