• How is it possible to win a chess match against AI?

  Much like humans - some AIs aren't very good. Unlike checkers or Connect 4 chess isn't "solved": there's no existing AI or strategies that can win 100% of the time. Chess is just much too complicated for that, as the number of available moves becomes truly ridiculous as a game goes on.   If you want to improve make it your goal to play the best chess you can, not increase an arbitrary number. Watch YouTube series like John Bartholomew's "Climb the Rating Ladder" for some general insight into what you might be doing wrong.
