The Character Creator has a license wherein if you use it for non-commercial products (ie - a free game) you can do whatever more or less, and if you are using them for a commercial product a license to do so starts at $5. An advantage of this approach is that it lets us utilize any CSS animation library that works off of the same concept of adding and removing classes. Some of the more popular libraries that work this way are animate.css and magic.css.
