The app in question, is an app/site called teuxdeux. Unlike many other to-do apps, this one is VERY bare bones, with very few fancy features to get overwhelmed or distracted by, which I like a lot. I think that many other ADHD people might benefit from using this. The interface is simple, and it has two list types: Today and Someday. Within the Someday list you can have a number of named subsections if you want. I... Source: 12 months ago
I haven't found anything other than teuxdeux.com that has functionality and a ui/ux in one. It's just like using paper. Source: 12 months ago

Clicking on the Features link (https://wekan.github.io/#features) just takes... - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago

Deck is very minimal and not really suited for anything beyond simple, personal stuff, in my opinion. As far as self-hosted, my favorite is still Kanboard, which has a lot of plugins and themes to choose from. Leantime is good too and a bit different. I also like Vikunja and Wekan.
