  • Minetest: An open source voxel game engine
There is also Terasology - a Minecraft-like voxel game with fancy graphics: https://terasology.org/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
  • What (hopefully free) games should we play in our honors video game class?
You might be interested in looking into a few Minecraft clones if price is a concern - Minetest is the most well known one from what I've heard but I was recommended Terasology a few years back. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Please update the list of Open Source Voxel Engines on the Wiki
Terasology has active contributions, but the link to it is super old. terasology.org should be the current. I think the GitHub link is correct, though. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Help: Trying to understand Java Desktop Demand
Terasology would love for this stuff to be easier, but is unlikely to use anything closed-source for a piece as integral as the application updater. Source: about 3 years ago

  • Australian ch7 just finished their ER contract.
Page 8 explains how to connect to servers in another country - you'd need to select UK for channel4.com. Source: 6 months ago
  • Anyone got a good copy of Toytanic?
Need it for a video project and all of the ones on YouTube are awful quality, plus the episode is missing from channel4.com for some reason. Source: 11 months ago
  • How to watch in the US
I watched both the US and UK versions of the show via VPN. Any VPN should work. Just look up "best free VPN client" or something along those lines. The Australian version is on 9Now. I watched the UK version on channel4.com. Remember that you have to choose the VPN server from Australia if you are watching the Australian version and you have to choose the VPN server from the UK if you are watching the UK version.... • Who is your favourite MAFS contestant of all time?
I got a vpn from Windscribe ($3/mo) and am watching on channel4.com. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Watching Taskmaster by VPN (with commercials) feels like going to Wee Britain in Arrested Development
Yeah, VPN to UK, NZ, or Australia and watch on the respective website (channel4.com, tvnz.co.nz, or 10play.com.au/). You have to sign up for an account and watch ads, but they're not as annoying when they're for some furniture store in Aukland that you'll never spend money at. Source: about 1 year ago
