I've been using Tellico for a few years now. You can retrieve metadata from a number of sources, search for books based on ISBN and other factors, and even track lending. Hey about the tv shows, I've been using tvtime.com for years and it's great. You can even add favorite shows so that's what I look at if people ask me for recommendations.
