I have deployed an app on kubrrnetes cluster with external IP. Now instead of accessing it via IP address I wanted some domain to redirect to it instead. So I registered a domain on “.tech”. There I went into options and created A record that points to my IP address. Works fine this way. You need to look at the app called Fuelio. Its core purpose was to record your fill ups but the part of the app you just described is called 'nearby'. Its currently telling me I have 109 stations within 10 miles of me, the average prices for the area, the best price, the nearest pump and the top rated.
