  • How to manage tasks in game dev?
Web-based tools and gui apps are just too high friction for my work flow, so I prefer simple command line tools. https://taskwarrior.org/ is my current favorite. Source: 12 months ago
  • Ask HN: What productivity tools do you use?
I’ll volunteer Taskwarrior (https://taskwarrior.org), since I don’t see it from anyone else just yet. It’s a CLI oriented task management system which (once you learn it) can be very quick and easy to use. It’s not perfect but they’ve done a better job that I would have for sure, and have really thought about reducing friction. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago

  • To-do list that only shows one task at a time.
I used to use GTDNext. They don't have an app though, just a browser option. Source: over 1 year ago

As the title describes, I'm looking for a to-do list / task manager app that has 2 different views, which I'll call "Edit" view and "Do" view. The "Do" view should only show the very next task as determined by some priority set in the "Edit" view. I'd like this to work on a global scale (only showing one task out of all projects, subtasks, etc.) rather than per-project. Does this exist? In my cursory research... Source: about 3 years ago
