Instead of writing things step by step, I just turn on Tango, go through the process, and everything is nicely documented. With the newer, online work management tools that have project management features (ClickUp, Monday.com, etc.), several have free versions and you have the ability to create a custom field that you can use for the assignee, ignoring the built-in field that requires a licensed user or guest.
