Beyond 2FA, some type of chaumian cash like https://taler.net/en/ might help too. But the problem is really downgrade attacks. The fee estimation you're seeing on multidoge.org may be incorrect. I downloaded and opened the wallet myself and I'm actually getting a, "Warning: fee estimation is currently not possible" message. Note that the prices of network fees are universal and correlate with general network congestion/inputs.
