If you ask me, browser tabs are #1 cause of distractions even for non-ADHD people. Unlike a desk where you leave bunch of things open and stacked on top of each other to come back to things, bookmarking tabs is like chucking them away in some drawer in the basement. For time tracking I lean on Time Sink. If you want something more manual then I feel like there are a zillion task-tracking timers out there but I couldn't point you to any one in particular. Wikipedia says Toggl has an OSX app so maybe you wanna look at that one first. Source: about 2 years ago
