  I would use syncthing, which is open source at https://syncthing.net/. After minimal setup, it just works(tm). You have a normal directory in your filesystem, that is synced to the other peers (which you set up in the "minimal setup"). I have been using it for years, and it works well.   I'm guessing GP means natively, not in a VM. I've been super grateful for the VM-based method, but I still prefer the native experience like that provided by Crouton[1].   At any rate, you can try Breath, Crouton, Manjaro... Those are three of the distros people have found success with. It all boils down to the specific hardware involved... Which we know nothing about since you kept that to yourself. Source: 11 months ago
