This issue was about experimenting with SVGCode to see if it could be used to convert raster images to SVGs. I blogged about this process in my last post. I created a pull request which demoed the results of my research by including several SVGs that I created using SVGCode, Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape. Blender is amazing for rigging, but for everything else you described I'd say you should consider svgator.com. Not that popular from what I've seen on here, and the free plan is limited, but as far as ease of using goes it's hard to beat. It's browser-based, so there's nothing to install/download. It's grown a bunch since the first time I've used it, and even their mid-tier subscription plan will pay for itself... Source: about 2 years ago
