Rooms on student.com for €200 a week (sketchy?). Source: over 1 year ago
I'm looking for a furnished room from September to December near MIT. Searching online I found this website (https://www.student.com) and saw they have some good offers, but I'm afraid that they might be a scam. So I though about asking here, do any of you have any observations about student.com? Also do you have any suggestions on where I should be looking for a room? Source: almost 2 years ago
Hi guys I am a international student coming from England to do a year abroad at the UNSW. I am trying to find accommodation but I have no clue what to go for. I am looking for a private room with shared living spaces/kitchen with other students. When looking on private accommodation websites like student.com and amber student there is a few I have taken a fancy to like, parkside-surrey hills and scape Broadway x.... Even in the best case scenario, its going to take you 15 years for the deposit on the shittiest house on domain.com.au. And need I remind that there are essentially no safety controls afround the quality of apartment builds and as such you're gambling with your life savings by buying one... The warranties can be shorter than a car. Source: 5 months ago
Is it me or have both onthehouse.com.au and domain.com.au both removed the previous sale prices of properties in the last month or so? Source: 10 months ago
Town houses are cheaper than detached places and often can be found in better suburbs that are closer to the amenities, beaches, shops, etc.. Make sure to check out places on domain.com.au or realestate.com.au to get a good idea. Suburbs like Pacific Pines, Coomera, or Pimpama are all driveable but check Google maps for rush hour commute times - the roads can get choked at rush hour. Source: 10 months ago
In the age of domain.com.au you guys are are totally redundant ticket clippers and offer absolutely nothing to justify the fees you charge. A few years from now you'll go the way of milkman I'm afraid. (Though at least the milkman didn't charge a $20k commission to pass the product from the vendor to the buyer lol). Source: 11 months ago
Nah, I live in Richmond myself and I've lived in both Brunswick and Moonee Ponds before. They're all in my ongoing domain.com.au property search. Source: 11 months ago
