I am all for startups, small companies, and new "Free" sites but I already got burned by alt tech run by smaller companies like bitchute, odysee, vid.me, stream.me, dlive, and all these other "alt tech" sites that pop up and once a big fish comes along and gets in the CEO's ear it's over because he bullies the owner into deleting his competition's shit exactly what happened on bitchute and odysee... Acestream Uses the BitTorrent protocol to stream video, which is pretty neat. Not sure how effective that can be wholesale, as it’s speed and therefore quality would depend on having a big enough concurrent network. It’s been around a while though. Source: over 2 years ago
