Play a bit against the Chess Engine https://stockfishchess.org/ if you want to get an idea about what an elite chess player can do. Source: 10 months ago
So if you want to play against Stockfish, play against it. And in fact I would recommend not playing it on chess.com or Lichess with their artificial crippling levels. Download Stockfish, put it on a GUI and play it full strength and have fun getting utterly demolished. Source: about 1 year ago
For us mortals I suggest SCIDvsPC https://scidvspc.sourceforge.net/ and CaissaBase http://caissabase.co.uk/ (4.8million games) then add Stockfish https://stockfishchess.org/ for analysis. Source: about 1 year ago
Just to analyze positions in general, you can use the analysis boards on websites, and I'd recommend also having an offline chess GUI running Stockfish. You can sometimes go deeper and fiddle with more things. My recommendations are Scid vs. PC or PyChess. You would need to download Stockfish too, as the built-in ones are a bit oudated. Hey, thanks for the mention! Unfortunately I am writing the code for my board, but from all the comments I've received, it seems like Stockfish may be a helpful resource. Source: about 1 year ago
You can download leela chess engine for free to play against. No need to train your own unless you want too. https://lczero.org. Source: over 1 year ago
Leela is the open source project based around the same ideas as AlphaZero. Source: over 1 year ago
There's actually an implementation of AlphaZero which is open source for Chess, it isn't the same but they tried to adapt as much from the paper as they could, and made fixes which would improve its capabilities. https://lczero.org/. I haven't kept up with the Chess Engine World Championship, but Leela has defeated Stockfish a couple times. Source: over 1 year ago
No wonder why no human can't beat it and also most of the traditional chess engines like: Stockfish, Leela. Source: over 1 year ago
Sounds like you are familiar with cheating in FPS games. However chess being a different kind of game means nobody pays anyone to make an engine, because the [strongest](https://stockfishchess.org/) [engines](https://lczero.org/) are completely free and open source. Source: over 1 year ago
