So then I stumbled upon stockdata.org which advertises commercial use plans as low as $9/month. My guess is it's so cheap because their data is relatively limited? (It doesn't even show bid/ask price, for example.) Then I was reading another company's website, Xignite specifically, which goes to great lengths to explain that not only do you need to pay them, the distributor, but you also need to pay the exchanges,... Https://alpaca.markets/data - As you see you get 100% market coverage for all US exchanges and unlimited API / WebSocket access.
