Here's how to cure you from your buying habit, checkout https://steamdb.info/, check the price history of the game you're thinking of getting. Most likely it's on sale once every odd month, and discount percentages are only ever increasing over time. So really you can just buy it when you think you have time to play it soon. My Abandonware (myabandonware.com) is a site that hosts... abandonware. Old PC games that have it's copyright either unenforceable or neglected and unprotected. Myabandonware.com is a top favourite for abandonware DOS titles. There are plenty of games there you've gotta pay for through Steam, GOG or Zoom Platform (which has all the Duke Nukem stuff officially) but there are plenty of free older games on there too, that haven't been re-released in any form for some time.
