  • Need help with dialog issue
Did you download from steam or swtor.com? Steam has a "Inspect Installation" tool that will fix a bad install. The SWTOR launcher has a similar tool (I think it is a little gear in the corner somewhere, but I am not sure. I use the Steam launcher). Source: 5 months ago
  • What's your SWTOR 2024 Outlook?
Interesting. I feel like we've had some improved communication but when was the BioWare logo replaced with the Broadsword logo on swtor.com? I think that was a fairly recent change and while I think it's great swtor.com actually reflects the current developer it took at least 5 months for this to happen. I don't consider that impressive at all. I expected that would be updated within 30 days of the studio... Source: 5 months ago
  • Old player (beginner) wants to find a new MMO.
Oh, also if you decide to subscribe, subscribe through the swtor.com official website, NOT Steam. I promise you that it will be less of a headache. Subbing to SWTOR through Steam is notoriously buggy for some reason. Source: 10 months ago
  • Studio update on Star Wars: The Old Republic | A message from Executive Producer, Keith Kanneg, on the future development of SWTOR
What I would want to know now that it is official is what happens to the business model. Granted it remains a freemium game at its core and swtor.com as a website is going nowhere (why would it?), who's going to get the money from the subscription? Source: 11 months ago
  • Swtor's dev team officially moving to broadsword - EA will remain publisher
Based on this tweet from SWTOR's Lead Writer it sounds like the employment transition from BioWare/EA to Broadsword occurred yesterday. So yes, this is a done deal and SWTOR is now officially developed by Broadsword. Perhaps they will be updating swtor.com and forums.swtor.com to remove the BioWare logo and replace it with Broadsword logo in the not-too-distant future. Source: 11 months ago

  • Do you think XVI will be open world or semi open world?
But anyways, the game even describes itself as open world on their website so I am going to not agree with your assessment of it. Source: over 2 years ago

  • Love this new wall paper by CD Projekt
You can also find a lot more of CDPR's official wallpapers (including the fifth anniversary one) here - https://thewitcher.com/en/witcher3 (You have to scroll down until you hit the wallpaper section.). Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Debunking the Promised but missing feature list by u/SpikeCraft
Now, I know a lot of you will rush to twitter bio but hold your horses, that doesn't mean anything. If you actually go to Witcher official website apart from a description that was recently added for Nintendo switch, the game doesn't call itself an RPG. Because RPG is a very broad genre. There are JRPGs which have 0 choice and consequence for example. Source: almost 3 years ago
