It has, but it wasn't adopted by the pragmatists in that time. It's hard to tell if the early adopters adopted it either - It doesn't show up at all in the 2023 stack overflow survey (nor in the previous two years) - https://survey.stackoverflow.co/2023/#technology-most-popular-technologies - It doesn't show up in questions asked on Stackoverflow since 2008 -... - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
> In 2017 I had React projects in production for years. I doubt that. React wasn't stable until 2015, and wasn't mainstream until 2016. > And it only got worse and the overengineering to make it looks fast in the first load is not worth it as modern JS frameworks are faster than React out-of-the-box. I've tried tawk.to and created separate agent profiles for each dealer but I cannot find how to restrict access only to their listings so not everyone can join the others live chat as it happens atm. Has anyone tried something like this before to guide me ? Any suggestions? Source: 12 months ago
Also, if possible, find their IP from tawk.to and block it in your firewall, or ask your hosting provider to block it. Source: about 1 year ago

Okay. I have deleted my cookies and browsing data. That should be safe enough measure. right? Although I am unable to access tawk.to website now. Maybe they have blocked my IP or something. Source: over 1 year ago
I'm currently using tawk.to to chat with my visitors, but I would rather use whatsapp as a chat mechanism. There are a lot of plugins for that, but I'm not sure which one would suit me best.
