  That would not be too hard and only requires a few lines of code to create a TLS proxy. An alternative would be a webmail system if you have a web browser on your old computer. It costs me $35/mo, but I use the account as part of the management of a phpbb forum I host, but I have a patreon for that that covers the expenses.
