  • Made payments on a phone I haven't had for 17 months now
I have gone several rounds back and forth between the carrier and Best Buy (both corporate and original store) over the months to no avail. I have now made 17 additional payments toward the 11 PM roughly equaling $765, almost triple the buyout amount and they still to this day refuse to remove the line. On top of that, I have zero access to my account, sprint.com obviously redirects to TMO, and using the same... Source: 11 months ago
  • Sprint migration only partially completed, migration PIN was sent to my wife's phone, she unable to get to it in time and so we are now receiving an error message upon T-Mobile login that says "Service Unavailable. F451 : Uh-oh, it looks like we have our wires crossed. Please try again later."
The last time we changed our PIN that I can recall was about a year ago -- I can remember part/most of it but not all of it. Like I said in an earlier post in the thread, Sprint's PIN reset process was much easier because using a combination of the sprint.com website and text messages, it was easy-peasy to reset it, and we were still able with Sprint to use the security word in lieu of the PIN, which we did on... • I need a new phone... and T Mobile won't let me buy one. Does anyone have any tips on buying a new phone while stuck with T Mobile?
As noted by u/revik2, the easiest thing is to order online at sprint.com or call to order. You need to call Sprint numbers since you are still a Sprint-billed customer. Source: 12 months ago
  • Spirit Airlines lost my wheelchair, this is my documented journey
You may have actually gotten more help with sprint.com. This really sucks and I'm sorry it happened to you. I've had the displeasure of flying with Spirit more times than I'd like to remember. Source: 12 months ago

  • We No Longer Need a Big Carrier's Wireless Plan. Discount Ones Are the Way
Not OP, and they said what they use (Red Pocket) but I also pay $5/mo for service from Tello ( https://tello.com/ ). 500MB/mo, data only, calls through Google Voice via data. (100 minutes of voice $1/mo extra.) Lots of choice in building your own plan. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
  • T-Mobile switching users to more expensive plans unless they call to opt out
Happy with Tello: https://tello.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
  • Can i recharge/pay again to stay with the same number?
Https://tello.com/ Unlimited on tello is 25gb of data. Source: 10 months ago
  • Best provider for 30 days
I'm on Mint and happy with it, live in Arlington VA and work in Downtown DC. As of last year you could sign up for Visible for a month and cancel. If you don't need fully unlimited data, i.e. Where you are staying will provide internet, a provider like tello.com might be good where you can customize your minutes and data (US Mobile has similar). Source: 12 months ago
  • A country where US calling can legally be charged at $1/minute is a broken country.
For US calling, if you have a supported phone, you can also sign up for a cheap US provider like Tello and pay $8/month for unlimited US calls and texts on a secondary SIM. Turn on wi-fi calling on the US SIM and make calls using your Canadian data. When you go to the US, add a gig of data for the cost of 2 Rogers US minutes. That's one of many similar US providers discussed in depth here. Source: about 1 year ago
