The Ultimate Automated Media Setup for Movies & TV Shows
Radarr, much like Sonarr, is very simple to setup and requires minor configuration once installed. The configuration for Radarr is also available via a web browser at http://localhost:7878. The wiki for the project has great documentation that should be able to get you going.

Installing Radarr, Sonarr and Deluge on your Unraid Server
Radarr is another open source software solution that I recommend installing. Radarr is a fork of Sonarr for media content that Radarr doesn't support. Similarly to Sonarr automates the downloading and organisation of this content. Radarr will download requested content as soon as it's available in your desired quality.
9 Best Home Server Apps to Automate Media Management
Radarr is a relatively new service, made specifically for downloading Movies. It's based on the same interface as Sonarr, so new users that have used Sonarr in the past should be right at home with Radarr. You can create watch lists for Movies with your preset quality settings and Radarr will automatically download them as soon as they are available. Being a new service, you...

  • Show HN: A website for remote workers to find Airbnb's with good Internet
This is a really good idea. For years I've wanted to know: - Which AirBNB hosts actually have a good "dedicated workspace". Criteria: at least a 30" deep desk, and a comfortable adjustable height office chair. - Which AirBNB rental units actually have fast internet. Ideal in a perfect world: Let me ping their router, or somehow get the airbnb host to visit https://speedof.me or a similar site, then upload the... - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
  • Just bought UDM-SE, can't complete initial setup
After factory reset... When selecting Offline setup, it is possible to log in to the UDM. From there, when setting up the internet connection, filling up the PPPoE data, device manages to get IP and connects to the internet but: - UDM-SE -> network -> dashboard -> speed test fails - https://speedof.me/ - won't load - https://account.ui.com/ - won't load - https://www.youtube.com/ - works - google... • Why so slow going through the Pi-Hole?
What one do you suggest? Most of the popular ones have paid routes/results from isp's. Speedof.me was supposed to be totally independent. Source: 11 months ago
  • It's 4am. I just "unthrottled myself" but now I'm very upset
Both real world (I was trying to use steam to update things) and on the 19th when I think this glitch first started I was downloading a ubuntu image from their official download link (so I assume it should be able to stream a pretty solid bitrate. Basically steam (which should be able to cap my connection no problem), random website traffic, speedof.me and the waveform buffer bloat tests all showed me hard pegged... Source: 12 months ago

Second, speedof.me is not a recommended site to test your subscribed speed. Better use speedtest dot net or fast dot com. And make sure to select nearest PLDT or SMART is selected pag sa speedtest. Source: 12 months ago

  • Gzip compression questions for 2 use cases
I use Nginx for Sonarr/Radarr would I see any general performance benefit when loading their webpages in general? If so, what level of compression would be ideal for this case? Source: 11 months ago
  • /r/Plex's Moronic Mondays' No Stupid Questions Thread - 2023-07-10
There may be better places, since I've just stuck to the same one for years now (and don't need them often enough to look into alternatives), but I usually use either subscene or opensubtitles. There are also programs that can automate it like bazarr, but it requires you to also use Sonarr/Radarr. Source: 11 months ago

  • Mixture of local and streaming possible?
Jellyfin doesn’t download movies. I think you want Radarr for that. Unless you mean that your Jellyfin server is somewhere else other than the cabin and you’re connecting to Jellyfin remotely from your cabin, in which case yeah you’d probably have to wait for it to download/buffer which could take a while.
