Spaceship.com's answer
Spaceship helps you buy and manage domains and other digital products faster and easier than ever before. Complex configurations involving DNS settings, managing subscriptions, and connecting or switching between products for example, are done within a few clicks. Something that also makes Spaceship unique is our commitment to shaping the platform for our customers, with our customers. What does that mean? Simple. It’s all about taking a community approach. If customers are not seeing what they want, they can ask for it via our ‘Request a feature’ option. We take all requests on board for careful consideration and show what’s coming in terms of the latest feature and product releases on our Public Roadmap. We even show those requests that are being considered, with the option for customers to vote for the features and products they want to see and use — the most popular get made first.

We believe Spaceship’s price-value ratio is unbeatable. That in itself is what our customers commonly tell us via review platforms such as Trustpilot. But to expand on that, the main reason we believe someone should choose Spaceship over any other web services platform is that Spaceship is designed to give people the freedom to take control of their digital future, with great technology combined with simplicity at the heart of everything we do. In a world of closed ecosystems and platforms with limited flexibility, our goal is to bring together many products and services and empower them to work seamlessly together. The focus of our entire business is user choice and ease of use, placing full ownership and power in the hands of our customers. This is what sets us apart.
Spaceship.com's answer
Spaceship is actually for anyone who wants to get online or who needs a domain. Or in other words, anyone who spends significant time online. Some of our primary audiences, however, include domain investors, digital product entrepreneurs, tech-savvy solopreneurs, web professionals, and small business owners.
Spaceship.com's answer
It’s a story we’re very proud of. As we only have a few words here, the TL;DR version is that with Spaceship the aim was to revolutionize and democratize the way you can search for, purchase, connect, and manage domains and everything else you need to get online and grow — to completely redefine what “seamless” means in the domains and web services sphere. Why? Because we want to empower EVERYONE to get online easily and quickly by skipping the inherent complexities usually associated with digital products. Headaches around setting up DNS, managing subscriptions, or switching between products and add-ons are only a hint of the issues people face today. We saw it as we grew Namecheap, and knew that solving these problems would need a revolutionary approach — And that is what Spaceship.com is. You can read more about it here on our blog.

With Spaceship, we put design and the user experience at the heart of all the technology. There are a whole host of technologies used and associated with the platform. And while we prefer not to give away secrets about all the tech magic under the platform’s hood that makes the Spaceship platform so revolutionary, some of the key technologies we use for our hosting, for example, are cloud technology (our own proprietary cloud) and things such as Litespeed web servers.

Spaceship recently reached one million domains under management in June 2024. We have amassed a wide range of customers on the platform from all over the world, with the majority of them based in North America, but there is also a significant presence in Asia. Many of our biggest customers include domain investors with extensive domain portfolios.

My solution, that I started to use probably 20 years ago, is having my own emails & domain on a webhost server. Expect to pay $30 for a webhost, domain name & registration each year. Assuming your name is John Doe, you could have [jdoe@newDomainname.US](mailto:jdoe@newDomainname.US) or some such, plus 16 other emails [XXXXXX@newDomainname.US](mailto:XXXXXX@newDomainname.US).
