It needs some work to be fully functional in Wayland i.e. Autohide feature doesn't work. But that's a graphical issue.     You're probably using the default terminal on your operating system so search on google how to get transparency for windows/mac terminal if you find a way use it if not you'll have to use an external terminal that supports transparency one of my favs is tabby - https://tabby.sh/.
