No need to become a music creator if that's not your thing. Just avoid using commercial music in your videos. There are plenty of royalty-free music resources out there, allowing you to add a music background to your youtube video without the risk of getting a copyright infringement claim. Free Music Archive has royalty free Creative Commons music. Tons of it, though you have to check the licenses carefully. A lot of them are for non-commercial projects only, so if you ever plan to sell an ad or otherwise make money on your show, don't use those.
