And I'll put in a plug for my own SCA tool :) Https://soos.io/. Source: 12 months ago
  • RSA Conference: Which presentations are you attending? (Promote yours if you are speaking)
You could stop by and chat with SOOS at booth 5170 about SCA, DAST, & SBOMs! We just received more G2 awards (Spring 2023) than all our competitors combined - and we're cheaper! We're also a team of engineers not salespeople :) Https://soos.io/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Can you recommend tools for internal vulnerability analysis process?
There are many tools that will do variations of these tasks, but I'm biased and would suggest soos.io since I'm the founder :). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Beating a dead horse?
I too have been extremely frustrated with many of these same problems over the years, especially the cost and ease of implementation. Years ago, I was trying to convince upper management to invest in an SCA tool but couldn't get the budget (and the tools we could afford did not produce the results I wanted). Our core product solves software supply chain needs in enterprises (around licensing and security), and our core technology is around compiler, build, and source code analysis. Off the top of my head, 3 advantages stood out: 1. First, if you're not going that far off the beaten low-level path, Haskell has incredible... - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
  • How to Automate the Software Bill of Materials (SBOM)
In this example, we'll explain how to create SBOM with FOSSA, an open-source dependency management tool ranked as the most significant SCA solution by the Forrester Wave. It helps you protect your software from open source risks such as supply chain threats and license violations. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
  • SBOM management
I saw https://fossa.com/ and https://anchore.com/ which seem to solve what I have in mind but I wanted to know if there's maybe an open source way of getting a better overview besides running trivy sbom everytime I want to know something about a given sbom file. Source: over 1 year ago
