KDE connect, from my understanding, is almost more of a protocol than needing the KDE Desktop manager. I've actually never used KDE Connect on a desktop yet use GSConnect on gnome, Soduto (https://soduto.com/) on mac, etc. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago

Alfred as a spotlight replacement that works amazingly. Dockey to change dock settings. Vanilla or Bartender for managing your menu bar. Fantastical is a great calendar app for all Apple devices. And Spark as a good email client. Source: about 2 years ago

Well, I like TinkerTool (it's my favorite tweaks app) but if you only use it to disable the dock delay, you could use this command or if you prefer a GUI there's Dockey. Source: over 2 years ago
