  • Please explain to me how the law treats websites that allow their users to search for stolen information.
Hello, I have a question about sites like DeHashed.com, snusbase.com and intelx.io. Source: over 1 year ago
  • concerned about legality of sharing breach data on the internet
So if that is true, how could I go to the sites like https://intelx.io , https://dehashed.com/ ,https://snusbase.com/ and type email address that has been in a breach and obtain possible password and username sometimes for free, and sometimes for a couple of bucks? If what the OP of the linked post says is true. These platforms should not be legal, or am I missing something? Source: over 2 years ago
  • Where are data breaches deposited/available from?
Usually it depends on where it will end up, you'll have to look through multiple different companies that pay to collect this information. Haveibeenpwned is a really great indicator to see the basics of where your information has been leaked through, but depending on the breach I'd recommend http://snusbase.com to get more details about what was contained in those databases. • Finding data online after a data breach
My favorites are theses 3, and are the most updated & fastest updated. - https://pwndb2am4tzkvold.onion.ws/ - https://snusbase.com/ - Dehashed.com (very nice but not free :/). Source: about 3 years ago

  • What makes people hate electron ?
There's exactly one non-webapp Electron-based application that I like and use semi-regularly -- Notable, because it has a skilled developer behind it, enough feature improvement to lure me away from KeepNote, and uses standard markdown files, so there's no lock-in to worry about. Every other Electron-based desktop app I've tried has been a fast uninstall. Source: over 1 year ago
  • How do you take notes during online training?
I use KeepNote. Very simple to use, Great for complex note taking. Even better when combined with GreenShot (Powerful screenshoting tool). Source: over 2 years ago
  • Is there a software where i can write a wiki and upload files? read post for detail
Lots of applications allow you to link to files. Click on the file and it opens. Wikidpad is a local open source free app http://wikidpad.sourceforge.net Zimwiki , Connectedtext, (no longer in development, but runs on windows 10) Keepnote (fee can run as a portable app) Http://keepnote.org/ There are also a number of notebook /information managers that do this: Ultrarecall, Myinfo, Whizfolders...
