Using a package manager that can be installed on most distro is one way to help you get to work faster. Flatpak is one of them; other alternative are Snap, Nix or Homebrew. As a side note, I use the trizen AUR helper program to install AUR packages because one of it's nice features over yay, etc, is that it by default shows the content of the PKGBUILD and any other files (patches etc) for an AUR package, so you can see or edit them before installing a package.
