Snapchat is my favorite app to have quick fun with my friends! I can send pictures and videos that disappear after they're seen, which makes it feel spontaneous and exciting. The funny filters and lenses always make us laugh, and we love trying out new ones together. The Stories and Discover sections also keep us entertained with interesting stuff to watch. Sometimes the app gets a bit busy with updates, but overall, it's the best for having instant fun and staying close with friends.

I don't know if you're familiar with the Snapchat or the Facebook mobile app. It's really cool, but I didn't have a phone until I got into social media around 5 years ago. What kind of tools were used to make the pictures look as good as possible? Source: over 1 year ago
I'm assuming DNS since nslookup doesn't resolve 216.239.36.126 and when adding the los angeles hostname, it causes my network to go out versus when using the IP. This very well could be wrong. I also understood nslookup as DNS related but I guess I'm misunderstanding Its true purpose here. I can ping snapchat.com and have updated the body above. Source: almost 2 years ago
Snapchat.com have probably the best landing page I've ever seen. It's very minimal, there is very little text and everything is absolutely clear and simple. Source: almost 2 years ago
We recently implemented Cisco Umbrella and have a variety of sites blocked like a typical corporate environment. There are several computers that are frequently reaching out to numerous blocked sites, some on the list are: zillow.com, snapchat.com, etsy.com, youtube.com, myspace.com, netflix.com, facebook.com, target.com. All of these sites get hit and blocked within the same minute. Source: over 2 years ago
If you look at some of the biggest domain sales... snapchat.com; uber.com, gmail.com, wechat.com, twitter.com, SpaceX.com , Instagram.com, Chrome.com, Prime.com (sold to Amazon)... Their sales were all brokered via escrow.com . Escrow.com charges a fee to facilitate the transaction. Source: over 2 years ago

Obsidian out of the box is a bit limited; plugins are great and add tons of features, but then you start hitting issues with plugin maintainers abandoning plugins you rely on, or needing to make a decision between three different plugins that all do the same thing slightly different. Depending on your use case and expectations that may not be a big... - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
I move between machines a lot and prefer an online tool; I'm self-hosting Trilium Notes https://github.com/zadam/trilium ; this looks a bit cleaner but without syncing (or server-side storage) it misses a bunch of potential use cases. - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
Have a look at Trilium: especially if you have a way of running it on an internet connected server, it solved all note-taking problems I had: mainly have access to it from anywhere incl. work. Source: 10 months ago

To my understating, you can pay to have Obsidian notes sync. I know nothing of the security around the encryption. One of the main reasons that I went with Joplin Notes over Obsidian is that Joplin gave me the ability to sync without paying for access to a server that I don't know well enough to trust. There is also Trilium notes (https://github.com/zadam/trilium). However, that did not over a sync feature last... Source: 10 months ago
