SMS APIs are often overcomplicated and filled with hidden surprises such as extra charges for phone numbers, country-based pricing, and minimum spend requirements.
With smsbrew, you can avoid all of that:
Easy to set up: No need to create an account or add untrusted dependencies to your codebase.
Flat, predictable pricing: Calculate your spend just by counting the number of SMS you send.
Options for everyone: We offer SMS packages suited for hobbyists, students, small businesses, and enterprises.

I would recommend this to someone looking for a way to automate outbound calls. You don't need a developer, Plivo does all the heavy lifting for you. I use it for all my marketing needs and it has made my life so much easier. I have used it for a couple of years now, and I am always pleased with the quality of service and support.
Plivo might be a bit more popular than smsbrew. We know about 1 link to it since March 2021 and only 1 link to smsbrew. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Did you ever ran into any issues with Twilio (e.g. Violation of terms, delivery issues, bad support, etc)? I just launched smsbrew.com, which is essentially a text messaging toolkit for small businesses. I'm worried that Twilio could shut it down at some point if people try to spam my API. This is so nostalgic. I actually met my cofounder on github due to a discussion on twisted vs gevent back in 2011. I had my inital code in twisted and he wrote the gevent piece. Fast forward 12 years and we still use gevent at http://plivo.com :) Some of our initial code snippets: # Twisted. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
