• Thanks to PCMR advice, finally stopped buying crappy "gaming chairs" and bought a real chair to game with. And it vibrates and heats up. On sale for just over $200.

  I actually currently work an office job, though I do have the luxury of getting up frequently. That is the first thing I would recommend, is standing and stretching as often as you can. I also bought a chair from Autonomous (autonomous.ai) that has really good lumbar support and adjustability.   We're commonly doing this with logging, using services such as Loggly or DataDog. We're using managed databases, be it on AWS, Heroku or database-vendor-specific solutions.
