  • Pfizer R&D director Jordan Walker
Looks like another linkedin scraper signalhire.com page has already been removed, it was working a few hours ago. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Forward spam emails back to sender!
I just found a few data collator sites, zoominfo.com and signalhire.com are just two - they seem to scrape sites like Linkedin etc and collate everything. Personal numbers can be found pretty easily, if you've ever signed up for a business identification number it could be there, could be in a data leak somewhere - these companies are pretty shady and will buy data from places to just get a lead. • Personal LinkedIn Data Sourced and Shared
Not to mention bunch of scammy crawlers like signalhire.com that constantly scrap LinkedIn data and make it fully public. Source: almost 3 years ago

  • Trouble finding a job
I applied a ton on LinkedIn and reached out to recruiters through there. greenhouse.io is also a good one. Otherwise, Google is your best friend, and I'd hand pick positions that make you apply directly on the company website rather than 3rd party. Source: over 1 year ago
  • job application forms suck
It's insane how shit some of these application forms are. Why can't every company have something like greenhouse.io so I don't have to make a fucking account to send you my resume and then fill out a bunch of the same info anyway. Source: over 1 year ago
  • With online job applications, how do I apply for one job posting but indicate that I'm open to others?
Many jobs use services like greenhouse.io to post their jobs, and each job posting has an application form right on the listing. I'm applying to several companies where I'd be happy in several different positions (e.g. SWE on team X, SWE on team Y, SWE on team Z). Should I be filling out each form separately? Should I fill out just one but indicate that I'm open to other roles? Should I be trying to track down a... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Need some help/advice with my resume and finding a new role.
I'd say I am not anti social, and I do get along well with people. No problem working in a team or by myself. I definitely get what you're saying though about looking like another It guy, but I just don't know what to edit. I wonder if my resume even makes it to a real person and isn't just being thrown out. I've noticed 99% of the jobs I apply for all use the same greenhouse.io format, and I never ever hear back... Source: almost 3 years ago
