Small flaw 🤏🏼: I don't know if this is something that's weird in your site code or the extension, but I am using Shut up (I'm on Firefox, fwiw) and the site doesn't render (at all) until I click the button to show comments. Somehow, it thinks all of it are comments. Source: almost 2 years ago

There's a bunch of replacements. I like https://newsblur.com but there are 4-6 large-ish similar sites. That said, partially what people miss is the relative cultural hegemony of Google Reader.
