This is pretty cool! I like the idea of small platforms to connect people with a specific need. I see why requester would log an entry on the site, but what would make a traveler think "oh, I should go make a post on this website" every time they travel, especially if it's unlikely anyone takes them up on the offer, they might just never do it. Oh, it's just that on Hacker News, if a post is to let others know about a finished work, people usually put "[Show HN]" in the title. Also, if your sister has an Intel Mac instead of an M1 Mac, I highly suggest VirtualBox and setting up something like Windows XP on that instead of Windows 11-- the steps will be pretty similar, and VirtualBox is free. Source: 5 months ago
