The challenge is that you need a mac that has a serial port, and then you need to be able to run the classic Mac OS (System 7 and higher). This camera pre-dates USB. However, you might be able to convince SheepShaver to use a USB-to-Serial cable and go with it that way. Source: 11 months ago
SheepShaver is a virtual machine program for running macOS, particularly the early PowerPC-era ones. It can run Rolypolys 2 just fine, although setting them up can be a bit tricky. Source: 11 months ago
The Macintosh Repository has a lot of vintage Mac software from the '80s, '90s, and early 2000s. Getting it working is another story. I use SheepShaver, it's a hell of a thing to set up, but once you get it working, it's good for anything that didn't require a graphics card (I've been playing so much Rescue! Meet Sheepshaver, a PPC Mac emulator that runs quite well on Apple Silicon. You'll need to track down a ROM dump of your old PPC Mac, but then you can install MacOS 7.x-9.x, and run old software. I've had good luck with Warcraft II, SimCity 2000, and Civilization II. Source: about 1 year ago
I've watched multiple videos and gone to many websites to find a good way to download windows on my macbook for free but the closest thing I found was parallels.com but that's only a 14 day free trial and if I had the money to pay for the full version I'd just get a pc lol. Source: 10 months ago
You can use a Mac, then use Parallels or Virtual Box for any virtual machines you might need(I prefer Parallels). There are Educational versions of Windows amongst other Microsoft products available to you through NJIT. Source: 11 months ago
After hours of frustration and looking for add-ins and loopholes, I finally found a solution to getting userforms into VBA mac. I downloaded a virtual browser though https://parallels.com/ and have successfully been able to edit script and then run the file on my native OS through excel mac. Source: over 1 year ago
Running Windows under a virtual machine is possible however with a free solution such as UTM or a paid solution such as Parallels Desktop for Mac. Source: about 2 years ago
