ScreenToVideo is a powerful screen recorder and video editor. The intuitive interface comes with just the right tools to create an interactive presentation in a matter of minutes.
With only a click, you can use our built-in screen recorder to capture a window, a chosen area, or your entire screen. Add a personal touch by recording your webcam and voice as well as the system sounds.
The next step is editing your video. ScreenToVideo offers a large variety of components - from text areas within shapes to video effects and even Google Text-To-Speech integration. Each component comes with dozens of customizable options. You can choose the border, shadow, or even create a custom gradient color. Smoothness is ensured by transitions while custom animations put the focus on the most important part of your video.
Interactivity became a MUST in today's presentations. That's why we created video actions and markers. Transform any element on the screen into a click area and choose from pausing, continuing, jumping, or going to a custom URL.
Finally, export your masterpiece in MP4 [or WMV] to ensure portability on any device. We use hardware-accelerated encoders to keep the quality high while cutting down the waiting time. It is also possible to publish your video within an HTML video player to provide a better experience and enable interaction. As a bonus, you can create a GIF to show a particular feature.

There's dozens of tools out there for this these days. I'd recommend sonix.ai they give you 30 minutes free. Source: 12 months ago
Do you have a budget? If so, there's this tool I've worked with called Sonix that generates transcripts of what you feed into it. It's not super accurate, but it's good enough. One of the features is that you can "highlight" chunks of text, and have it spit out an XML that will have a sequence containing only the highlighted text. Source: about 1 year ago
Sonix was the one I used because it had 30 free minutes and the video was only 10-11 minutes long. It seems to have done a really decent job, but not sure if that's because the source audio is pretty clear. Source: over 1 year ago
Sonix.ai does many languages and is quite good. Source: over 1 year ago
I am struggling with this as well, but one good tool for me has been sonix.ai, which can transcribe pretty well (posted a little while ago about it). Source: about 2 years ago
