Edovia's Screens https://edovia.com/en/ is a paid app, but it makes the Sharing stuff a little more accessible/easy to setup. I was using this to share between my Macs and my Windows PCs-just one click sharing. But...I can't get it to work with my Mac Mini for some reason, so I went back to Apple's solution. In the last few years a lot of really solid ones have come on the market and if I were choosing a new one now, I might end up with a totally free one, but having used it for a while, and having it for free in my setapp subscription, I live and die by https://pasteapp.io/.
