So are the above 3 nostr clients (for example satellite.earth) different from the web clients (in this example Coracle)? The web client (and android clients like Amethyst) I understand are the interface that allows you to send and receive the underlying nostr feed, but is that also true of satellite.earth? Ie is satellite.earth equal to Coracle but just implemented differently, Or do I use Coracle to access... Source: 10 months ago
Then, visit the top right hand corner and tap on your profile. You can then go to profile settings to setup your profile. Add your picture, handle, and your bio information. satellite.earth doesn't have a built in image uploader, so you'll need to upload a profile photo elsewhere and put the link to your profile picture image in the field provided. NIP-05 ID or a Nostr address is something we can get to later. You... Source: 10 months ago

Relays are dumb servers which only receive and give data to clients, they have no power over your account if satellite.earth stops working you can just go to another nostr client and all of your posts will be there. If for some reason all the relays in the world stops working than you can run your own relay and everybody will see your posts. Source: 10 months ago
Good news! Run0 will use polkit[1], which uses JavaScript for its rules[2], so there's no limit on how complex your rules can get! Apparently there are some stations which still have ticket gates, but I haven't seen any in the rather short time I've been in the Netherlands - they seem to be concentrated in metropolitan areas[1], and I've only been in the somewhat more rural[2] province of Limburg. As it happens, though, I have never actually used the OV-chipcard myself, as I always use an Interrail pass when travelling any further than... - Source: Hacker News / 6 days ago
Uh, depending on exactly how it's implemented, it could break a lot of things. If all you are using sudo on is a personal (i.e. Single user) laptop/desktop to install packages, this (along with other things like pkexec or doas) would seem to present no issues (and personally, from what I can see, I'd be happy to run `run0` on my personal systems!), but sudo does significantly more than that,... - Source: Hacker News / 4 days ago

Getting some Qs about Delta availability, hope this clarifies things! • Delta is exclusive to AltStore in EU • Because of Apple’s new dev terms, all downloads in EU cost us €0.50/yr in AltStore PAL and App Store…so couldn’t offer Delta in EU App Stores without making it paid • App Store only supports one-time paid-upfront apps, so we’d have to pick a price that could support ~years of CTFs • PAL’s €1.50... - Source: Hacker News / 14 days ago
